Pure Strat
Pure Strat is run by Brian Albin and is the western division of the Star Tournament Association. Pure Strat organizes face-to-face tournaments in the western part of the U.S. (one every few months) and also organizes on-line tournaments using Skype to simulating playing your opponents live. The basis of the tournaments is using the latest baseball cards issued by Strat-o-matic and creating your 25 man team via a draft.

Star Tournament Association
Star Tournament Association is the longest existing tournament group that offers almost every month a face-to-face basement tournament using a drat to build your team along with two on-line tournaments via Pure Strat (by skype) and the Internet Division (which uses the Netplay program that comes with the SOM Computer Baseball Game. Many people consider the champions that win the tournaments held within Star Tournaments the best SOM baseball gamers on the planet.

The tournament offered by STAR outside the western part of the U.S. are shown on their website.  Again you have a chance to play in one of their Face-to-Face tournaments or they offer an Internet Tournament using the Netplay software linked to the Strat-o-matic Computer Baseball Game.)

Ultimate Strat Baseball Newsletter
Ultimate Strat Baseball Newsletter is a monthly/bi-monthly on-line FREE baseball newsletter which started in January of this year. This newsletter includes information (via articles, interviews and columns) about the Strat-o-matic Baseball Game (including tips how to play the game better) along with interesting information about professional baseball including interviews with ex-MLB players and individuals involved with Baseball who’s careers were enhanced by playing SOM Baseball.
