What is the SOM International On-line Baseball Convention All About?
For the year of 2013, Wolfman Shapiro had two visions. One was...
I played in Strat-O-Matic tournament run by these guys (the 1980 National Convention)
back in the day and it was a blast! I highly recommend this tournament for Strat fans.

— “The Ultimate Strat Baseball Newsletter” is a great resource for fans of
all things Strat-O-Matic. The upcoming Online Convention and website is a great
place to visit to connect with other Strat-O-Matic fans. Wolfman Shapiro organized the
Strat-O-Matic conventions in IL in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.

Having been a tournament player and organizer for many years, I fully support this new and exciting way of bringing gamers together. I hope this continues in the tradition of the conventions of years past and feeds not only the Star tournaments but stock team tournaments that seem to have taken on a new life in recent years.
